Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve efficiency of excrementitious matter treating operation of a purifying apparatus, by depending a vertical inlet pipe from the pot of flush toilet, forming a water surface in said vertical pipe, and connecting a lateral inlet pipe to said vertical pipe with a small inclination angle.
CONSTITUTION: Excrementitious matter discharged from pot 1 is flushed with a relatively small amount of water into vertical inlet pipe 21 and floats on the water surface 15 formed in lower vertical pipe 4. Excrementitious matter sufficiently dissolved in water is pushed by subsequently dropped excrementitious matter and introduced into decomposition tank 7 via lateral pipe 5 connected to the vertical pipe 4 with a small inclination angle of about 0W15 degrees. In the tank 7, excrementitious matter does not float on scum 18 as different from conventional arrangements. Thus, in accordance with the above apparatus of this invention, a water surface is formed in vertical pipe 4, so that excrementitious matter, in particular, toilet paper floats on the water surface and dissolved in water sufficiently. Therefore, it is carried into lateral pipe 5 without causing loading. Further, since slope of the lateral pipe 5 is moderate, position of outlet pipe 14 is not lowered so much if distance between pot 1 and purifying tank 6 is fairly long. And, excrementitious matter is introduced into the tank 7 after it is dissolved in water sufficiently, it can be separated into solid and liquid effectively.
