Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a highly relaiable device by eliminating the stress concentration at the airtight sealing time except for the corner part of the sealed assembly. CONSTITUTION:The corner part is excluded from the inner side of upper and lower cases 7 and 8, and no corner part is included also inside frame 11 containing crystal oscillator bar 9 which is held between case 7 and 8. Thus, the vacuum sealing is given via joint material 19. In this constitution, both the mechanical and thermal stress concentration can be avoided with no cracks produced at all, thus obtaining a highly reliable device.
