Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain good platean characteristics by applying a gold film on the inside wall surface of a metal made case having a radiation incident window. Radiations incident to the inside of the case 2 through an incident window 3 produce discharge within the case 2, which is then drawn out in the form of electric pulses from the anode wire 1. Here, good platean characteristics may be obtained simply by applying a gold film on the inside wall surface of the case 2 through experiment.
