Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a winding with stable adhesive and dielectric strengths of isulation at high temperatures by coiling a main insulating basic material containing a resin-hardening catalyst about the winding-conductor which is already applied with strand-insulation provided by a heat-resisting film or enamel, and then impregnating it with a thermosetting resin.
CONSTITUTION: A winding-conductor, applied with strand-insulation provided by a heat-resisting film or enamel, is coiled with a main insulating basic material which contains a suitable quantity of a heteocycle-producing-catalyst and then is impregnated with a thermosetting resin consisting of a polyfunctional epoxy-compound and a polyfunctional isocyanate-compound. Since the conductor coated with the heat-resisting film or the enamel is impregnated with only a small amount of the resin, the resin between the winding conductors is also hardened by the catalyst contained in the main insulating basic material, thus the dispersions of the adhesive and the dielectric strengths of the resin are reduced and a winding which is stable and reliable at high temperatures can be obtained.
