Abstract

CONSTITUTION: When water is drained from a pressure tank 1 through a pipe 11 and the water level falls below a minimum LWL, the float 8 of a stop valve 5 provided at the front end of an air supply pipe 4 located in the tank 1 descends. Thereby, a valve port 6 is opened to introduce air of predetermined pressure into the tank 1 through a pressure reducing valve 9. When the water level falls further to a lower limit LLWL, a pump 3 is operated according to a velel gauge signal to introduce water into the tank 1 to raise the water level to the minimum LWL. At that time, the air pressure in the tank 1 resing with the volume of the water is released to the outside through a relief valve 10.
