Abstract

An accumulator cell adapted for connection to a liquid filling system common to several cells has a liquid inlet 15 a liquid outlet 14 and a float 6 within the cell which is positioned so that it follows the rise and fall of the liquid level in the cell. The float is connected to or combined with a bowl 7 or the like the position of which is controlled by the float, so that both the inlet and the outlet issue into the bowl when the desired liquid vessel is present in the cell. The cell may be filled automatically from a common liquid filling system and the danger of overfilling the cell is avoided.
