Abstract

PURPOSE: To comfortably heat by a hot air heater with a dust collector by switching an ignition high voltage circuit thereof to a dust collector contained internally and externally in the body thereof except for ignition time to thereby drive the collector so as to clean the air in the room.
CONSTITUTION: When an AC voltage is applied between terminals 1 and 1', a charging current flows through a capacitor 12 via a diode 11, the contact (b) of a switch 10, primary winding of a transformer 14, and a resistor 13. When the voltage across the terminals of the capacitor 12 reaches the breakover voltage of a Sidac 15, the Sidac 15 turns ON with the result that it is discharged through a closed circuit of the capacitor 12, Sidac 15, the primary winding of the transformer 14, and the switch 10. When this discharging current flows instantaneously through the primary winding of the transformer 14, high voltage is generated through the secondary winding thereof to thus discharge between discharge electrodes 18. After the ignition is completed, the switch 10 is changed over to the contact (a) side to form a high voltage generating circuit for a dust collector commonly with the ignition high voltage generating circuit.
