Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a heat medium with various heat-transmitting directons by combining several metals with different thermal conductivities metallurgically in one body for promoting heat-exchanging efficiency.
CONSTITUTION: A corrugated face 19 is shaped on the central heat-transmitting part of a heat plate 18, where metallic bodies 20 with high thermal conductivity and the same 21 with low conductivity are alternately combined in the longitudinal order of the heat plate to be in one body metallurgically. Flat faces 22 are formed on both ends of the corrugated face 19 in continued state for giving a header to distribute fluid. Heat plates 18 are piled up, and sealings are given in the upper and the lower part of the piling by side plates 23 made of a metal of low thermal conductivity. Meanwhile, the side faces of the heat plates are sealed by metallic seal plates 26 and 27 with low thermal conductivity except in the parts of a hot part header 24 of high temperature and high pressure fluid and a cold end header 25. This construction serves to promote the heat-exchanging efficiency.
