Abstract

PURPOSE:To bring about turbulence of heat transfer liquid mediums so as to improve the heat transfer coefficient, by fixing a mesh member on the heat transfer surface of each of heat exchange plates that are laminated. CONSTITUTION:The heat exchange plates 1 are layered and assembled with a packing 5 therebetween so that passages are formed by the heat exchange plates 1 with the passages 4a and the passages 4b alternatively arranged. The high temperature heat transfer medium 6 is allowed to flow via the passages 4a and the low temperature heat transfer medium 7 is allowed to flow via the passages 4b so that the heat exchange is carried out. One surface of the heat exchange surfaces of each heat exchange plate 1 has the metal mesh 2 secured thereto. Said heat medium 6 and heat medium 7 flows through the spaces defined by the heat exchange plates 2 each having the secured metal mesh 2.
