Abstract
PURPOSE: To permit the use of reduced fin thickness, reduced fin-to-fin distance, and increased fin surfaces on the high-temperature high-pressure side, and to ensure that thermal back-flow is prevented even where the cooling fluid has a higher temperature than the cooled fluid, by utilizing a thermosiphon for both oil cooling and radiation.
