Abstract
The heat radiating recuperator has an auxiliary heat exchanging surface. The heat exchanging space has a gas permeable auxiliary heating surface of large surface area to ensure high convective thermal flow. Between the flow gas side heat exchanger wall (5) and the opposite rear wall (4) is arranged a gas permeable auxiliary heat exchange surface (7). This surface is in radiating heat transfer connection with the heat exchanging wall. The recuperator element is fitted on a metal structure (1) provided with lagging (2).
