Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve exhaust performance, by controlling sucked negative pressure by introducing auxiliary air so as not to exceed the maximum allowable value of sucked negative pressure decided by the time elapsed after starting deceleration under a deceleration condition of an engine.
CONSTITUTION: An auxiliary air feeder puts a control valve 7 on the way of a by- path 10 for feeding auxiliary air mounted bypassing a throttle valve 7 of a main air feeder. If sucked negative pressure exceeds the maximum allowable vlue of sucked negative pressure corresponding to the time elapsed after starting deceleration when an engine decelerated, a signal, which pulse width is enlarged, is put out to a pulse magnet valve 19 from a micro-computer 20, thus increasing the time of the opening of the pulse magnet valve 19. Consequently, dilution rate is enlarged by the atmosphere of negative pressure introduced into a negative pressure working chamber 15, the quantity of a valve body 12 lifted is reduced, and the opening of the control valve body 12 lifted is reduced, and the opening of the control valve 11 is increased, thus resulting in the quantity of large by-path air.
