Abstract
PURPOSE: To efficiently dispose water while allowing the regeneration and reuse of resin, by removing metallic cyanogen complex ions, cations, cyanogen ions and anions by contacting cyanogen group plating waste water and appropriate ion exchange resin.
CONSTITUTION: In a 1st process, cyanogen group plating waste water is passed through salt type weak or intermidiate basic anion exchanger filled into a column in down-flow or up-flow shapes, and metallic cyanogen complex ions are removed under a stable condition. In the next 2nd process, cations are removed by contacting water flowing out from the 1st process and dydrogen type strong acidic cation exchanger in the same manner. In a 3rd process, anions are removed by contacting water flowing out from the 2nd process and only acid radical type strong basic anoin exchanger or hydroxylic weak or intermediate basic anion exchanger and hydroxyl type strong basic exchanger. Resin used can be regenerated and reused.
