Abstract
PURPOSE: To decrease running cost by making weak acidic cation exchange resin H type passing regeneration waste liquid of strong acidic cation exchange resin and next, changing a part of the above H ype resin to alkali metal salt type passing regeneration waste liquid of enion exchange resin at the time of regenerating weak exchge resin at the time of regenerating weak acidic cation exchange resin.
CONSTITUTION: At first, hydrochloric acid in the measfring tank 12 is diluted by the dilution water 13 and the weak acidic cation exchange resin 4 is regenerated passing liquid through the SK column 3 on occasion of regenerating the weak acidic cation exhange resin 2 of the WK column 1. Next, the resin 2 is regenerated to H type passing the regeneration liquid 14 through the column 1. Then, pushing out and washing of both resin, are carried out by the usual method and NaOH in the measuring tank 15 is diluted by the dilution water 16 after washing countercurrent and settling down the WA column 8 and the SA column 10 by the usual method and then, the strong basic anion exhange resin 11 is regenerated passing liquid through the column 10. The weak basic anion exchange resin 9 is regenerated passing the regeneration waste liquid 17 through the column 8. A part of H type resin is changed to Na type passing the regeneration waste liquid 19 through the column 1 and alkali containing in the liquid 19 is neutralized.
