Abstract

PURPOSE: To perform easy operation of a gas pipeline booster station by preventing the blocking-up of a scrubber if hydrate is accumulated in a gas scrubber.
CONSTITUTION: When hydrate 41 is accumulated at a gas scrubber 10 as hydrate 41 is generated, the progress of gas flow channel blocking-up by hydrate 41 accumulation is detected by the difference increase between the inlet and outlet pressure value in the gas scrubber 10; valves 26, 25 and an air vent valve 24 are successively opened, and hydrate inhibitor 60 is injected into a container 20 through a hopper 2. After that, valves 21, 24 are closed, and valves 26, 25, 28, 27 are successively opened in this order to inject hydrate inhibitor 60 in the gas scrubber 10 through an injection part 31; then the said valves 27, 28, 25, 26 are closed in this order. On this occasion, hydrate inhibitor 60 is introduced with ease into the gas scrubber 10.
