Abstract

PURPOSE: To check the spouting of exhaust gas toward the combustion matter inlet with an accumulation layer of combusion matters which are stored temporarily at a more than a given level in the storage tank.
CONSTITUTION: When the top surface of combusion matters reaches a set level of an upper limit detection means 13, with the charging of the matters halted, a mass screw conveyor 16a is driven to feed thereof to a fluidizing furnace 1. In the furnace, gas blown out of a fluidized gas injector 5 after fed from a feed blower 6 causes the fluidizing medium to be fluidized as as to form a fluidized layer. When the furnace is put into operation, the atmospheric pressure in the furnace varies with the conditions therein, often presenting a positive level. However, as the combustion matters are temporarily stored at more than a set level of a lower limit detection means 14, the accumulation layer R thus formed checks the spouting of exhaust gas toward a combustion matters inlet 9.
