Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent unburnt large-sized particles from being exhausted without fluidization in a fluidized bed incinerator by provision of a drop preventing plate under the air distributing plate and an accmulation moving mechanism for moving particles accmulated on the drop preventing plate.
CONSTITUTION: Generally a fluidized bed incinerator has air distributing pipe 2 in the lower portion of the incinerator body 1, defining a fluid layer 3 above the air distributing pipe 2 and a fill-up layer 4 below the pipe 2. Incombustible matter and fluid medium are exhausted by exhaustion feeder 8 out of exhaust port 7. With such a construction, there is provided a drop preventing plate 10 downward of the air distributing pipe 2. The drop preventing plate 10 is formed in a roof shape with the outer ends inclined downward. Unburnt large-sized particles passing through the fluid layer 3 drops on the plate 10 thus arranged and accumulated thereon without passing into the fill-up layer 4. Thus accmulated particles move down along the sloping surface of the plate 10. In this while combustion continues and thereby unburnt particles can be effectively prevented from exhausted in a large amount.
