Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve the measurement accuracy and resolution of the apparatus using a plurality of photoelectric transducers by controlling the synchronous scanning and gain of plural photo detectors.
CONSTITUTION: The respective photoelectric transducers of photo detectors 22a... are shifted according to the clock from a second signal generator 25, whereby the light image of the measuring object 20 is scanned. This causes the detection light image signals to be applied to comparators 30a... and AGC circuit 27a..., then the synchronous scanning of the second and subsequent detectors 22a... is controlled via one-shot circuit 29a... by time width pulses corresponding to the differential signals with the reference set level outputted by circuits 27a... Hence, the stable detection signals having undergone required AGC through controlling of running image storing time are generated from the respective photoelectric transducers of the detectors 22a... and the output pulses of the comparators 30a... by the light image signals above the threshold value are applied to an arithmetic circuit 34 through the NAND gates 31a... which are opened after the second and subsequent scannings, whereby the measurement of high resolution and high accuracy is accomplished
