Abstract
PURPOSE:To extremely increase the machining speed and efficfiency with roughness of machined surface in good condition and a capacity of accurate machining by controlling to change the electric density at the beginning and at the end of the group of unit pulse. CONSTITUTION:A machining electrode 1 and a workpiece 2 to be worked is placed opposite to each other to form a machining space that can be controlled. The on-offs from the electric source 3 is controlled by the on-offs of a switch 4, adding pulse on the machining space. An oscillator 6 generates pulse suitable for a group of pulse, an oscillator 7 generates unit pulse, and an integration of these two outputs generates a group of unit pulse; this output pulse is applied on the switch to control on-offs, thereby supplying a row of pulse into the machining space to do the machining with electric spark.
