Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve an operating efficiency and to seek an unattendance by a method wherein a wire electrode is automatically supplied when a disconnection trouble of the wire electrode occurs. CONSTITUTION:It is assumed that a disconnection trouble of a wire electrode 1 is accidentally generated at a point 407 of a working pattern 404 during an electrospark machining, then, the machining is once stopped and the electrode is moved to the starting hole 401 and a wire electrode is automatically supplied and the wire electrode is moved to the disconnection trouble generating point 407 passing through the former machined groove by means of an idle operation. And when the wire electrode 1 arrives at the disconnection trouble generating point 407, the electrospark machining is resumed. When a disconnection trouble of a wire electrode having a given times or more, the last disconnection generating point is stored in a memory and the machining is stopped and the electrode is moved to the machining starting hole 402 of the next machining pattern 405 and a wire electrode is automatically supplied and the electrospark machining is resumed.
