Abstract

PURPOSE: To attain re-lead-in operation with an asynchronous signal utilizing only when regenerated carriers are led in correct phase, synchronism is establlshed.
CONSTITUTION: Intersecting partial response modulated signals received by reception part RX are detected synchronously by synchronous detectors PD1 and PD2 with 90°-out-of -phase carriers, and then applied to code regeneration part RGEN and base-band processing circuit BBP, and voltage control oscillator VCO is controlled by the output of the BBP to output regenerated carriers. When frame synchronism detection part SYNC detects that the frame synchronism is established, changeover circuit PSW applies the output of oscillator VCO to detectors PD1 and PD2. When it is out of synchronism, circuit PSW is switched in order to apply the output to 45° -phase shifter PSH2, thereby shifting the phases of the regenerated carriers by 45°
