Abstract
PURPOSE:To curb generation of nitrogen oxides, by fitting a stabilizing combustion cylinder and recirculation passage in a radiant tube near the tip of a burner nozzle. CONSTITUTION:The mixture of fuel and air is injected from a nozzle 2 and ignited and burnt in a stabilizing combustion cylinder 7, while the combustion exhaust flows out to a radiant tube 3. But part of the exhaust is recirculated to the base of the stabilizing combustion cylinder 7 due to the kinetic energy caused by the injection of the nozzle 2, being guided by a guide plate 9 through a recirculation passage 8 to the direction of arrow A, and then joins the mixture. This can reduce generation of nitrogen oxides.
