Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce nitrogen oxides in an exhaust gas by injecting the secondary air for combustion, a fuel gas and so forth from a nozzle, sucking and circulating low temperature exhaust gas, whose heat has been absorbed by a boiler body, by utilizing the injecting energy. CONSTITUTION:A plate separating a wind box 3 with a front smoke box 7 in a boiler is removed to provide an injection nozzle 11 injecting the secondary air in the wind box 3. Reduction of nitrogen oxides by the effect of an exhaust gas recirculation is achieved by sucking a part of the low temperature exhaust gas in the front smoke box 7 through a circulating passage and mixing it together with air for combustion to a burner injection port, with utilizing a sucking energy provided in injecting air through the secondary air injection nozzle 11.
