Abstract

PURPOSE: To considerably reduce NOx in exhaust gas by utilizing gradual combustion mechanism and exhaust gas circulating mechanism and using exhaust gas which contains NOx in large amount as combustion air.
CONSTITUTION: The exhaust gas which contains NOx and in less than the theoretical air amount is blown from an air blowing port 5 as primary air 6, and a portion of combustion gas 8 self-circu lates into the part before a venturi 18, due to the action of the venturi. Insaid recirculating hot gas, the fuel 1 fed under pressure by a pump 2 is sprayed from a burner chip, and primary combustion is performed. After the completion of primary combustion and the removal of NOx, the combustion gas is perofectly combusted in a secondary combustion chamber 10 into which secondary air 9 is supplied.
