Abstract
PURPOSE: To render the size small and decrease the weight as well as be capable of controlling the flame nature such as the flame length or the like within a short period of time by a simple operation in the midst of actuation by providing radial air-jetting openings on the periphery of inner and outer double fuel pipes so as to widen towards the end.
CONSTITUTION: The fuel from a fuel pipe 10 is separated into an inner flow pipe 1 and an outer flame pipe 2 of a double pipe and thus supplied, and sprayed into a furnace from a fuel spraying outlet 6 of a baffle 5 via a burner tile 9. The diameter d2 of a circle which connects air-jetting outlets 7 which extend radially and the diameter d1 of the fuel-jetting outlet 6 are chosen so that the ratio d2/d1 may be 1.5-2.5. By so doing, the fuel (a) jetted from the fuel-jetting outlet 6 engulfs the burnt exhaust gas (b) and is reducingly primarily burnt by the residual low density oxygen in the burnt exhaust gas. And, the air supplied to the wind box 4 is jetted from the jetting outlet 7 of the air-pipe which widens towards the end at an angle θ in the baffle 5, thereby the secondary combustion occurs at the end portion. The inner and outer flow quantity ratio is adjusted by means of a flow quantity adjusting mechanism 11 so that the inner flow/the outer flow may be 80/20-70/30, thereby the flame length is controlled
