Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve the cooling effect of coolant liquid, by providing a liquid injection type rotary compressor with liquid injection nozzles wherein liquid parts injected from at least two injection holes collide against each other.
CONSTITUTION: A portion of coolant liquid is conducted from a condenser 4 of a refrigeration cycle 7 to the injection nozzles 13aW13C through passages 12, 14aW 14c and flow rate control valves 15aW15c and is injected from the injection holes 17a, 17b of each injection nozzle. The coolant liquid parts injected from the injection holes are atomized by their collision into a working chamber 1a of the liquid injection type rotary compressor 1 to perform cooling. When the temperature in the working chamber 1a rises, the flow rate control valves 15aW15c are operated through temperature detectors 16aW16c to condition the quantities G1, G2, G3 of coolant injected from the injection nozzles 13aW13c as G1<G2<G3
