Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a ceramic compound enable of low temperature sintering excellent of dielectric loss and dielectric strength, by adding specific amount of MnO into a compound containing specific ratio of PbO, Fe2O3, Nb2O5, MgO, Ta2O5.
CONSTITUTION: 0.001W1.0 wt% of MnO is added into a compound containing 60.72W67.17 wt% of PbO, 3.26W11.41 wt% of Fe2O3, 5.42W19.00 wt% of Nb2O5, 0.20W2.56 wt% of MgO, and 2.22W28.04 wt% of Ta2O5. For example a material of said composition is wet mixed and temporarily burnt for 2 hours under 700W 850°C then chemically reactioned and crushed again. Then proper amount of binder (PVA) is added and formed into a disc under approximately 3 ton/cm2 thereafter it is enclosed in a magnetia container and burnt for 2 hours under approximately 850W950°C to obtain Pb(Fe1/2Nb1/2)O3-Pb(Mg1/3Ta2/3)O3-MnO system.
