Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce normal loss by employing two reactors corresponding with secondary and thertiary loading determined on the bais of formula analysis in place of a resistor.
CONSTITUTION: Additional reactors 15, 16 having different reactances are connected in parallel with each of low-voltage relay, where the reactances are set in accordance with the reactances of two low-voltage relays 13 connected to the secondary of grounded metering transformer 1 and relat load of low power factor connected at the tertiary of transformer. One low-voltage relay can be functioned during the phase missing of any phase at the primary of transformer 1. In other word during primary phase-missing, any one of two line voltages out of three can be lowered below the setting level. Consequently the blown-off of primary fuse can be detected separately from the bus voltage drop where both line voltage drop. Furthermore the heat generation and power loss can be eliminated when compared with conventional detection of the blown-off of primary fuse where a resistor is employed.
