Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a small-size and light-weight high frequency filter featuring a low loss by providing the dielectric layer of large thickness on the outer circumference of the inner conductor. CONSTITUTION:Inner conductor 21 of each 1/4-wavelength resonator is short-fixed to conductor case 20 each at one end, and the other end is put under the open state. Dielectric core 22 featuring a comparatively large thickness is provided on the outer circumference of each conductor 21, and coupled loop 24 is provided near the fixed terminal of each conductor 21 between adjacent resonators. The coupling between the adjacent resonators is small enough due to core 22, and as a result the outer conductor is not required with only simple-structure conductor case required for external shielding purpose.
