Abstract
PURPOSE:To make it possible to shorten an adjustment time greatly, by realizing the continuous variation of the degree of coupling by providing a rotary coupling loop to the coupling part of resonators forming a filter. CONSTITUTION:Input-output transmission line 7 is coupled with the 1st and 2nd half-axial resonators via input-output coupling loop 6. Additionally, rotary coupling loop 12 is provided to the inter-stage coupling part of each resonator. Then, the degree of inter-stage coupling can be varied continuously and greatly by turning this loop 12. The adjustment time can therefore be shortened greatly. Further, providing rotary coupling loop 14 between input-output coupling loop 6 and inside conductor 1 of the 1st resonator, and coupling loop 6 and inside conductor 2 of the 2nd resonator makes it possible to vary continuously the degree of input-output coupling, obtaining the same effect. In addition to the half-coaxial resonator, this is available for the application to coaxial resonators, cavity resonators, etc.
