Abstract

1421311 Band-pass filters R MINET J DEBEAU and E L THEPAULT 20 Feb 1974 7827/74 Heading H1W The coupling sections between the half-wave resonators of a stripline filter are shorter than the normal quarter-wavelength, and the resonators are asymmetrically arranged to compensate for the decreased coupling lengths. In the three-section filter shown, lengths are indicated in mm. The open-circuited half-wave resonators are asymmetrically positioned on the main transmission line and are coupled by sections of length approximately to one-eighth wavelength. A five secton filter is described. The Specification describes design procedures in detail. The filter may consist of balanced stripline (sandwich line).
