Abstract

PURPOSE:To give broad characteristics even with a small size, by constituting BPF with a resonant rod and a center conductor in it, and connecting a diode to an outer conductor. CONSTITUTION:The local oscillation signal input from a terminal 1 is coupled to a resonance rod 8 via a BPF formed with impedance transformers 4, 41, outer conductor and resonance rod 5 and further coupled to a diode 6. Further, the IF signal fed to the diode 6 through an LPF consisting of a dielectric substance 7, center conductor 8, and resonance rod 14 from a terminal 9 is frequency-converted with an RF signal through the nonlinearity of the diode, and the RF signal is obtained at the terminal 3 through resonance rods 14, 51 and impedance transformer 42. Thus, by using the resonance rod 14 as the resonant rod coupled to BPF and also commonly using it as the outer conductor for the conductor 8, the mounting is made small. Further, by connnecting the diode 8 between outer conductors 8, the impedance matching in broad band of diode can easily be obtained.
