Abstract
PURPOSE: To effectively utilize the sensible heat of waste air by making the mutual transfer of waste air by freely exchanging the inlet sides of both the steam recovery side high temperature region and the power generation side low temperature region in the cooling system for highly heated substance in which high temperature system is separated from low temperature system.
CONSTITUTION: In cooling sintered ore, for example, in which the high temperature region 1A and the low temperature region 1B are separated systematically, the forced circulating systems 2A and 2B are formed, and the sintered ore is cooled to 350 to 500°C in the high temperature region 1A, 100 to 300°C in the low temperture region 1B, and then approx. 80°C at exhaust port. And, a 55T/h steam is obtained from the waste heat boiler 4 and a 7500 kW power is obtained from the generator 14 driven by the hot water turbine 5 for example. In this case, when the consumption of steam is reduced by half, the amount of steam generated becomes excess if waste air is sent to the boiler 4, and therefore the regulating valves 7A, 7B, 8A, and 8B are exchanged to sent the approx. half of waste air heated to a high temperature through the high temperature region 1A in order to convert it into electric energy. On the contrary, when consumed power is reduced, the amount of steam generated is increased.
