Abstract

PURPOSE: To make the printing operation of high speed and multiple colors possible and to promote the fixation of a powder image by transferring respective color images to an intermediate brancket drums so that the transfer is performed once to a transfer material and by accomplishing the passage through pressure rollers.
CONSTITUTION: A photosensitive drum A is subjected to a primary charging operation by a charger 4, and the image of an original is projected through a filter 10 upon a photosensitive plate by a simultaneous exposure type charger 5 while accomplishing the discharging operation. Then, the light of a light source 11 is wholly projected upon the photosensitive plate, and the electrostatic latent image obtained is developed. In this instance, developers 12 to 14 develop the respective colors of yellow, green and red in a consecutive manner in accordance with the interchange of the filter 10 so that the powder image obtained is electrostatically transferred to a branket drum 16 in a consecutive manner. The powder image of the three colors is transferred to a flexible substance 20 by the roller 20 having a higher pressure than 1 Kg. As a result, the multi-color printing operations can be performed without damaging the photosensitive plate.
