Abstract
NEW MATERIAL:The title compound of formula I: [R is 2W5C fluorine-containing alkenylene group; A is F, sulfonyl fluoride, sulfonic acid, sulfonamide, carboxylic acid, etc.; X and Y are F or -CF3; Z is F, OH, alkoxy, -OM (M is alkali metal), etc.; n is an integer 0W50].
EXAMPLE: Compound of formula II.
USE: Functional high polymers, e.g. ion exchange membranes, surfactants, eextile finishes, metal cleaners, solvents, surface treatments, etc.
PROCESS: A compound, e.g. formula IV, of formula III: (R' is 2W5C fluorine-containing alkylene group wherein Cl, Br, H or two or more of them are linked to at least the adjacent carbon atom) is dehalogenated or dehydrohalogenated in the presence of a dehalogenating or dehydrohalogenating agent to give the objective compound of formula I. The compound of formula III can be obtained by reacting a perfluoroolefin expoxide with a compound of the formula A'R' COF (A' is F, etc.).
