Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the long storage of recording paper while retarding the wear a heating element and a recording stylus and to simplify the producing process of the paper thereby to reduce the cost the same by forming a high frequency coloring layer which has ZnO particles bonded with a resin. CONSTITUTION:A paper base 1c is formed with an evaporated layer 1b of Al, to which is applied a high frequency coloring layer 1a having ZnO particles bonded with a resin. The recording paper 1 thus prepared is sandwithed between a back electrode plate 3 and a recording stylus 2 so that the leading end of the stylus 2 is brought into contact or proximity with the layer 1a, and a high frequency voltage is applied between the electrodes. As a result, the ZnO particles, which neither exhibit conductivity for a DC current nor color at a recording temperature of normal heat- sensitive paper, can develop a pure black color, and the recording layer is excellent in its long storage.
