Abstract

PURPOSE: To plan to retrieve fertilizer by processing urinary sewage with magnesium compound and denitrifying biologically utilizing sediment generating reaction of magnesium phosphate ammonium and thereby effecting sewage disposal without any marketable hydrogen provisional agent.
CONSTITUTION: Urinary sewage 1 is introduced into sedimentation pool 2 after adding magnesium compound and dixing, thereafter, produced sediment and SS in original sewage 1 are separated. Overflown liquid from the sedimentation pool 2 is introduced into a first denitrifying tank 3 belonging to a biological denitrifying process of nitrated liquid circulating system, further, circulating nitrated liquid 5 from a nitrating tank 4 and returned sludge 7 from a last sedimentating pool 6 are feeded, thus, nitrated nitrogen will be reduced into nitrogen gas utilizing BOD ingredient included in the original sewage 1. On the other hand, a part of overflown liquid from the sedimentating tank 2 is changed into magnesium phosphate ammon by adding phosphate compound and magnesium compound, and after separation, is used as hydrogen provisional agent for a second denitrifying tank 9.
