Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve S/N deterioration, which is caused inevitably by high-pass boosting, by utilizing the interrelation between scanning lines adjacent to each other.
CONSTITUTION: In the constitution of switching pulse generator circuit 12, video signal a is led to 1H delay line 13 and buffer amplifier 14. Output signals from them are added in adder 15, and the added signal is subjected to primary differentiation by primary differentiator 16. Since this differentiated signal becomes 0, a positive- direction pulse and a negative-direction pulse in the part of no level change of signal a, the rising part of signal a and the breaking part of signal a respectively, only negative-direction or positive-direction pulses can be amplified by selecting properly the bias of negative-direction pulse amplifier 17 or positive-direction pulse amplifier 18 respectively. Consequently, the primary-differentiated signal is amplified by amplifiers 17 and 18 independently, and the polarity of the signal which passed through amplifier 18 is inverted by a polarity inverter, and this signal is added in adder 20 after being converted to the same polarity. This signal is caused to pass through retriggerable monostable multivibrator 21 and is made into a proper pulse width, and after that, this signal is led to analogue switch 11.
