Abstract
PURPOSE:To completely compensate transient noise generated at the start or end of dropout compensation, by changing over an FM switch for the compensation of dropout and dropout noise generated at the start of dropout generation. CONSTITUTION:At the generation of dropout, a pulse 17 is generated from a pulser 5 immediately and an FM switch 6, hysteresis circuit 15 and video switch 14 are driven. Thus, an FM signal preceding by 1H from a 1H delay line 8 is introduced to the output of the switch 6, and the video signal preceding by 1H is given to the output of the switch 14 from an FM demodulation circuit 10. At the end of dropout the output of the switch 14 is switched to the video signal preceding by 1H after the delay of rd2+rd3. The switch 6 is switched after rdd delay, and noise of this switching passes through an FM demodulator and enters the switch 14 with a delay of about 0.5-1.0mus. Thus, the noise due to switch 6 is removed by making the rd3 to >=1.0mus.
