Abstract
PURPOSE:In a torsional nematic type liquid crystal display device, it is intended to effectively drive the drive the device by disposing the transmitting axes of polarizing plates at angles of 10 deg. to 1 deg. with respect to the direction of molecular orientation on the surfaces of adjacent liquid crystal layers or the direction normal the thereto.
