Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.複数の電極導線を囲んでいる、脈管内挿入に適した長寸ボデーと、 複数の先端電極を備え、基部端部に沿ってマージンを形成する複合電極で、各 先端電極が組み合わせられる電極導線と電気的に接続されていて、前記長寸ボデ ーの軸線に沿って少なくとも一つの側面で他の先端電極と隣接しており、各先端 電極が絶縁体によって他の先端電極から分離されている複合電極と、 組み合わせられる電極導線に電気的に接続され、前記複合電極のマージンと重 なり合う形状にされた空洞を形成し、前記複合電極及び前記長寸ボデーの先端部 にしっかりと取り付けられ、絶縁体によって前記複合電極から分離されているカ ップ電極とを備える心臓電気生理学用の電極カテーテル。 2.前記複合電極と前記カップ電極の両方が実質的に等しい大きさの外寸を有 する、請求項1に記載の電極カテーテル。 3.前記カップ電極が前記長寸ボデーと軸線上に整列されたカップ電極の基部 端部に形成された軸状部をさらに備える、請求項1に記載の電極カテーテル。 4.前記軸状部が円筒形であり、長寸ボデーと軸線上に整列されたボアと軸線 上のボアにまでのびるオリフィスとを形成し、前記電極導線が前記軸状部にしっ かりと取り付けられたカップ電極に電気的に接続されている、請求項3に記載の 電極カテーテル。 5.前記軸状部が円筒形であり、長寸ボデーと軸線上に整列されたボアと軸線 上のボアにまでのびるオリフィスとを形成し、前記電極カテーテルが長寸ボデー を通って延びる一対の安全線と前記ボアと前記オリフィスとをさらに備え且つ前 記軸状部にしっかりと取り 付けられている、請求項3に記載の電極カテーテル。 6.前記カップ電極はその基部端部に前記長寸ボデーの軸線と平行な等間隔に 並べられた複数の貫通ボアを形成し、各貫通ボアは電極導線の一つとカップ電極 の間の電気的な接触を防ぐために貫通して形成された穴を有するメニスカス絶縁 体を備える、請求項1に記載の電極カテーテル。 7.各先端電極は直角に交わる一対の平坦な側面を有する直角電極からなり、 前記直角電極のこのような各平坦な側面が他の直角電極の平坦な側面に隣接して いる、請求項1に記載の電極カテーテル。 8.複数の先端電極のそれぞれが実質的に対称な形状である、請求項1に記載 の電極カテーテル。 9.複数の先端電極のそれぞれが基部端部に沿って凹んだ面を有しマージンを 形成する、請求項1に記載の電極カテーテル。 10.複数の先端電極のそれぞれが基部端部に前記長寸ボデーの軸線に平行な 電極導線用ボアを形成する、請求項1に記載の電極カテーテル。 11.前記長寸ボデーは柔軟な電気的絶縁材料からなる、請求項1に記載の電 極カテーテル。 12.前記長寸ボデーは操縦可能である、請求項1に記載の電極カテーテル。 13.前記長寸ボデーを制御する手段さらに備え、前記制御手段の長手方向の 動きが前記管状ボデーを操縦する、請求項12に記載の電極カテーテル。 14.前記制御手段が電極カテーテルを外部電気装置に接続するためのコネク タに電気的に接続されており、各電極導線は制御手段を通ってコネクタの基部端 部まで延びている、請求項13に記載の 電極カテーテル。 15.前記制御手段は前記長寸ボデーの先端部を操縦するために引張り線をさ らに備え、前記引張り線は前記長寸ボデーを通って延び、前記制御手段及び前記 カップ電極にしっかりと取り付けられている、請求項1に記載の電極カテーテル 。 16.前記長寸ボデーの先端部に沿って間隔を離して並べられた複数の電極を さらに備える、請求項1に記載の電極カテーテル。 17.前記電極カテーテルを操縦する手段をさらに備え、前記操縦手段が前記 長寸ボデーの基部端部にしっかりと取り付けられている、請求項1に記載の電極 カテーテル。 18.前記操縦手段が前記電極カテーテルを外部電気装置に接続するためのコ ネクタに電気的に接続され、各電極導線が前記操縦手段を通って前記コネクタの 基部端部まで延びている、請求項17に記載の電極カテーテル。 19.複数の電極を備える複合先端部で、その各電極がある角度で交わる一対 の平坦な側面と前記一対の平坦な側面に隣接する外側接触面とを有し、各電極の 各平坦な側面が他の電極の平坦な側面に隣接し絶縁体によってそこから分離され ている複合先端部と、 組み合わせられる電極に電気的に接続された複数の電極導線を囲んでいる、複 合先端部を管状カテーテルボデーに取り付けるための手段とを備える分割先端電 極。 20.複数の電極のそれぞれが実質的に対称な形状であり、その角度が鋭角で ある、請求項19に記載の分割先端電極。 21.複数の電極のそれぞれが実質的に対称な形状であり、その角度が直角で ある、請求項19に記載の分割先端電極。 22.複数の電極のそれぞれが実質的に対称な形状であり。その角度が鈍角で ある、請求項19に記載の分割先端電極。
