Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.赤外線のポリマー材料への照射を含む、ポリマー材料を加熱するためのプロ セスであって、赤外線が、赤外線に関するポリマー材料の吸収ピークとは実質的 に異なる波長を有することを特徴とする、プロセス。 2.ポリマー材料のための吸収ピークに対応する波長がフィルタ処理されて除か れることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のプロセス。 3.前記波長がシリコンガラス、SiO2等から作られたフィルタによってフィ ルタ処理して除かれることを特徴とする、請求項1または2に記載のプロセス。 4.ポリマーを通過する赤外線がポリマーに向かって逆反射されることを特徴と する、先行の請求項のいずれか1つに記載のプロセス。 5.ポリマー材料を通過する赤外線の放射が、直接材料に接し、その上に、また はその中に位置する反射層によってポリマー材料を介して逆反射されることを特 徴とする、先行の請求項のいずれか1つに記載のプロセス。 6.ポリマー材料を通過する放射が、ゾーン内の赤外線源の反対に位置する、ポ リマー材料の側に位置した層によって吸収されることを特徴とする、請求項1− 3のいずれか1つに記載のプロセス。 7.熱によって架橋可能なポリマー材料が架橋添加剤ありかなしかで前記赤外線 の照射によって架橋されることを特徴とする、先行の請求項のいずれか1つに記 載のプロセス。 8.ポリマー材料がポリエレンを含むことを特徴とする、請求項7に記載のプロ セス。 9.ポリマー材料が有機過酸化物、好ましくは無極性有機過酸化物を含む架橋添 加物を含有することを特徴とする、請求項8に記載のプロセス。 10.ポリマー材料がアゾ化合物を含む架橋添加剤を含有することを特徴とする 、請求項8に記載のプロセス。 11.赤外線が波長範囲3.3−3.6μmおよび6.7−6.9μmの外の波 長を有することを特徴とする、請求項7−10のいずれか1つに記載のプロセス 。 12.赤外線が波長範囲2−10μmの外の波長を有することを特徴とする、請 求項11に記載のプロセス。 13.赤外線が実質的に1.2μmのあたりに位置する波長を有することを特徴 とする、請求項11または12に記載のプロセス。 14.表面の酸化を防ぐために、ポリマー材料の表面が架橋時に窒素または別の 不活性ガスに接触していることを特徴とする、請求項7−13のいずれか1つに 記載のプロセス。 15.架橋されるべきポリマー材料が連続的に押出成形され、赤外線の照射が実 行されるゾーンを介して連続的に送られることを特徴とする、請求項7−14の いずれか1つに記載のプロセス。 16.プロセスが押出成形されたチューブの架橋に関連し、押出成形後のチュー ブが赤外線の照射が行なわれる単数または複数のゾーンを介して垂直に送られる ことを特徴とする、請求項7−15のいずれか1つに記載のプロセス。 17.チューブが、赤外線を有する少なくとも1つの第1のゾーンを介して垂直 にある方向に送られた後、赤外線を有する少なくとも第2のゾーンを介して垂直 に逆の方向にも送られることを特徴とする、請求項16に記載のプロセス。 18.窒素または別の不活性ガスが架橋の間チューブの外部および内部に沿って 接触していることを特徴とする、請求項16または17の1つに記載のプロセス 。 19.装置が、赤外線に関するポリマー材料の吸収ピークとは異なる波長を有す るポリマー材料への照射のための少なくとも1つの赤外線源を有する少なくとも 1つのゾーンを含むことを特徴とする、ポリマー材料を加熱するための装置。 20.赤外線源を有する前記ゾーンはポリマー材料の成形物の製造のための形成 道具の一部を含み、道具の前記一部は赤外線を透過する材料、好ましくはガラス から作られることを特徴とする、請求項19に記載の装置。 21.透過性材料の前記一部はポリマー材料、好ましくはシリコンガラス、Si O2の吸収ピークに対応する波長をフィルタ処理して除く材料から作られること を特徴とする、請求項20に記載の装置。 22.ポリマー材料は熱によって架橋可能なポリマー材料を含み、赤外線を有す る前記ゾーンの力は所望の度合の架橋が達成されるように調整されることを特徴 とする、請求項19または20のいずれか1つに記載の装置。 23.赤外線を有する前記ゾーンを介して架橋可能なポリマー材料の成形物を送 るための手段が設けられることを特徴とする、請求項22に記載の装置。 24.前記成形物に対して赤外線を反射するための第1の装置が、各赤外線源の 後に配置されることを特徴とする、請求項19−23のいずれか1つに記載の装 置。 25.前記成形物に向かって赤外線を反射するための第2の装置が、各赤外線源 の反対に位置する、成形物の側に配置されることを特徴とする、請求項23また は24に記載の装置。 26.前記赤外線源が少なくとも1つの赤外線ランプを含むことを特徴とする、 請求項23−25のいずれか1つに記載の装置。 27.2つ以上の赤外線ランプが赤外線のための前記ゾーンにおいて成形物のま わりに対称的に配列されることを特徴とする、請求項26に記載の装置。 28.装置が成形物の押出成形のための押出成形機をさらに含み、前記押出成形 機が赤外線のための前記ゾーンの前に配列されることを特徴とする、請求項22 −26のいずれか1つに記載の装置。 29.装置が、成形物の表面の酸化を防ぐために、赤外線源を有する前記ゾーン に窒素または別の不活性ガスを供給するための手段を含むことを特徴とする、請 求項23−28のいずれか1つに記載の装置。 30.架橋されるべきポリマー材料のための吸収ピークに対応する波長をフィル タ処理して除くフィルタが、各赤外線源と成形物との間に配列されることを特徴 とする、請求項23−29のいずれか1つに記載の装置。 31.前記フィルタがシリコンガス、SiO2等を含むことを特徴とする、請求 項30に記載の装置。 32.前記成形物が押出成形されたチューブまたは別の中空の生成物を含み、装 置が、チューブがコアの上をそれによって支持されるように移動されるときに赤 外線を反射する前記第2の表面として役立つ反射表面でコーティングされた内部 コアを含み、コアが赤外線の前記ゾーンの長さに実質的に対応する長さを有する ことを特徴とする、請求項19−31のいずれか1つに記載の装置。 33.前記赤外線のゾーンが、押出成形後の成形物が赤外線ゾーンを介して垂直 に移動されるように垂直に配列されることを特徴とする、請求項23−31のい ずれか1つに記載の装置。 34.前記成形物が押出成形されたチューブを含み、赤外線源を有する前記第1 のゾーンが前記押出成形機から垂直方向に配列されることを特徴とする、請求項 33に記載の装置。 35.前記チューブを180°偏向させるための少なくとも1つの偏向装置が赤 外線源を有する前記第1のゾーンの上に配列され、したがって、チューブが、前 記偏向装置に対して垂直に配列された赤外線源を有する少なくとも第2のゾーン を逆の方向で垂直に通過できることを特徴とする、請求項34に記載の装置。 36.赤外線を反射するための前記第1または第2の装置が放物形または楕円形 の断面を有するミラーを含むことを特徴とする、請求項24−25または34− 35のいずれか1つに記載の装置。 37.装置が、赤外線源を有する前記ゾーンにおけるチューブの外側および内側 に沿って不活性ガス、たとえば窒素を供給するための手段を含むことを特徴とす る、請求項34−36のいずれか1つに記載の装置。 38.前記赤外線源またはランプの波長が実質的に1.2μmであることを特徴 とする、請求項23−37のいずれか1つに記載の装置。 39.修理されるべきパイプの部分に対応する長さを有するライニングチューブ をパイプへと導入することを含む、パイプを修理するためのプロセスであって、 ライニングチューブは1つまたはいくつかの層を含み、パイプの内径よりも小さ い外径を有し、ライニングチューブはパイプの壁に対して拡張され、ライニング チューブが赤外線に関するPEX層の吸収ピークに対応する波長を有さない赤外 線によって加熱されることを特徴とする、プロセス。 40.層の少なくとも1つが架橋されたPEXを含み、架橋時にライニングチュ ーブが有した外径よりも小さい外径を有するライニングチューブが、前記赤外線 によって加熱されると、修理されるべきパイプの壁に対してライニングチューブ が外向きに拡張するようないわゆる記憶機能を有することを特徴とする、請求項 39に記載のプロセス。 41.前記ライニングチューブが拡張されていない拡張可能な材料でコーティン グされ、その外部がIR放射によって発泡温度に加熱され、それが発泡された条 件でパイプとライニングチューブとの間のいかなる空間をも充填することを特徴 とする、請求項39または40に記載のプロセス。 42.ライニングチューブが不活性保護ガスによって内部過圧を受け、これは拡 張に寄与し、反応からのいかなる残留物をも取除く小さいガスの流れによって維 持されることを特徴とする、請求項39−41のいずれか1つに記載のプロセス 。 43.架橋されたPEXを含むことを特徴とする、請求項40−42のいずれか に記載のプロセスのためのライニングチューブ。 44.チューブの架橋の後の外径よりも小さい外径を有することを特徴とする、 請求項43に記載のチューブ。 45.チューブがその外側でまだ反応されていない泡を形成する層を設けられる ことを特徴とする、請求項43または44のいずれか1つに記載のチューブ。 46.ライニングチューブが好ましくはPEXから作られた1つまたはいくつか の薄層を含み、各層が修理されるべきパイプの壁に対して内部過圧によって拡張 され、層が先行する隣接した層に対してまたはパイプの壁に対して形成され、お よび/または溶接されるように前記赤外線によって加熱されることを特徴とする 、請求項39に記載のプロセス。 47.ポリエチレンまたはPVCのようなポリマー材料の配向されたチューブを 製造するためのプロセスであって、チューブは適切な配向温度に加熱され、次に 拡張され、冷却され、前記チューブがIR放射によって適切な配向温度に加熱さ れ、IR放射がポリマー材料の吸収ピークに対応する波長を有さないことを特徴 とする、プロセス。 48.チューブが、初期段階で材料の弾性の係数を下げるために、初期段階でI R放射によって理想的な配向温度よりもやや高い温度に加熱され、その後、温度 が適切な配向温度に連続的に下げられることを特徴とする、請求項47に記載の プロセス。 49.少なくとも1つの外部層、少なくとも1つの中間層、および内部層を含む 複合チューブであって、前記中間層はPEを含み、前記外部層および前記内部層 が、酸素に対するバリアを形成し、かつ過酸化物および/または過酸化物の反応 残留物に関して低い透過性を有するプラスチック材料を含み、PEの前記中間層 が化学的に架橋されることを特徴とする、複合チューブ。 50.前記層がともに押出成形され、PEの前記中間層が、好ましくは、PEが 赤外線に関して有する吸収ピークに対応する波長を有さない赤外線による照射に よって、層の全厚さにかけて均一に架橋されることを特徴とする、請求項49に 記載の複合チューブ。 51.前記外部層が変性ナイロンから作られ、前記内部層が変性ナイロンまたは MDPEから作られることを特徴とする、請求項49または50に記載の複合チ ューブ。 52.前記内部層が塩素に対してチューブを保護するために充填剤としてのCa CO3を有するMDPEから作られることを特徴とする、請求項49−51のい ずれか1つに記載の複合チューブ。
