Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.変化する画像強度を有する、歯のデジタル化x−線画像の源、 予め決めた領域内の歯の外側表面を同定し、そして、エナメル質と象牙質の間 の界面を同定する手段; 歯表面に一般的に平行で、そして、エナメル質と象牙質の間の界面に一般的に 平行であり、エナメル質内と象牙質内とで、界面に平行する連続の間隔を持った 線に沿う強度の著しい変化を同定する手段; 該強度の変化を、既知のデンタル病変或いはカリエスに関する記録データと比 較し、そして、そのような比較により、デンタル病変が、象牙質内に存在するか 否かを、そして、そのような病変の確率の程度を求める手段; エナメル質および/あるいは象牙質内のデンタル病変の存在或いは不存在を示 し、そして、存在する場合に、その病変の程度を示す、該連続の空間線に沿う強 度変化の両方をプリントアウトする手段を有することを特徴とするデンタル病巣 或いはカリエスのデジタル検査システム。 2.種々の画像の強度を有する、歯のデジタル化x−線画像の源、 予め決めた領域内の歯の外側表面を同定するため、そして、エナメル質と象牙 質の間の界面を同定するための手段; 歯表面に一般的に平行で、そして、エナメル質と象牙質の間の界面に一般的に 平行であり、エナメル質内と象牙質内とで、界面に平行する連続の間隔を持った 線に沿う強度の著しい変化を同定する手段; 該強度変化を、既知のデンタル病変或いはカリエスに関する記録データと比較 するため、そして、そのような比較により、デンタル病変が、象牙質内に存在す るか否かを、そして、そような病変の確率の程度を求めるための手段; エナメル質および/あるいは象牙質内のデンタル病変の存在或いは不存在を示 し、そして、存在する場合に、その病変の程度を示す、該連続の空間線に沿う強 度変化の両方をディスプレイする手段を有することを特徴とするデンタル病巣或 いはカリエスのデジタル検査システム。 3.変化する画像の強度を有する画像で、その歯のデジタル化x−線画像を得; そのデジタル化された画像中で、そして、エナメル質と象牙質の間の界面を同 定するために、予め決めた領域内の歯の外側表面を同定し: 歯表面に一般的に平行で、そして、エナメル質と象牙質の間の界面に一般的に 平行であり、エナメル質内で、象牙質内で、界面に平行する連続の空間線に沿う 強度の著しい変化を同定し; 該強度変化を、既知のデンタル病変或いはカリエスに関する記録データと比較 し、そして、そのような比較により、デンタル病変が、象牙質内に存在するか否 かを、そして、そような病変の確率の程度を求めるものであり; エナメル質および/あるいは象牙質内のデンタル病変の存在或いは不存在を示 し、そして、存在する場合に、その病変の程度を示す、該連続の空間線に沿う強 度変化の両方をディスプレイすることを特徴とするデンタル病巣或いはカリエス のデジタル検査方法。 4.(a)少なくとも2つの隣接組織の画像を処理し、該組織と、その組織の少な くとも1つの外側境界との接合面を決め、それにより、該画像の分画を確立し; (b)各分画内の該画像の一部を処理し、該組織内の特性を同定し; (c)該画像を処理し、該特性に関する統計を作り; (d)該特性統計を処理し、該特性が病変である確率を求めることを特徴とする組 織内に存在する病変の確率を定量する方法。 5.勾配法サーチを用いて、該外側境界を求め、前記の分画処理工程(a)は、該 勾配法サーチを効率化することを配慮して、確立される分画パラメータにより制 御されることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の組織中に存在する病変の確率を定量 する方法。 6.該画像は、鮮鋭さの程度を有し;そして、 該分画処理工程(a)は、処理される該画像の鮮鋭さの程度を配慮して、確立さ れる分画パラメータにより制御されることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の組織中 に存在する病変の確率を定量する方法。 7.該画像は、明確化の程度を有するデジタル画像であり;そして、更に、 (e)該画像を処理し、該分画処理工程(a)を為す前に、明確化の程度を改良する ことを特徴とする請求項4に記載の組織中にある病変の確率の定量方法。 8.前記画像の明確化改良処理工程(e)は、測定された点拡散関数を用いて、該 画像上で、FFT−ベースのデコンボリューションを行うことを特徴とする請求 項7に記載の組織中にある病変の確率を定量する方法。 9.前記特性抽出処理工程(b)の画像の一部は、前記接合と前記外側境界を配慮 して、測定されることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の組織中に存在する病変の確 率を定量する方法。 10.前記の特性抽出処理工程(b)の画像の一部は、前記の外側境界内のトレー スのファミリイを有することを特徴とする請求項4に記載の組織中に存在する病 変の確率を定量する方法。 11.前記特性抽出処理工程(b)の画像の一部は、前記の接合面と前記の外側境 界面に基本的に並行であるトレースであることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の組 織中に存在する病変の確率を定量する方法。 12.特性抽出処理工程(b)は、更に、前記のトレースに沿うピクセル強度を決 定し; 該トレースに沿う強度の変化を測定し;そして、 該強度変化を処理し、該トレースに沿って、該特性の位置および大きさを測定 することを特徴とする請求項11に記載の組織中に存在する病変の確率を定量す る方法。 13.(a)少なくとも2つの隣接組織の画像を処理し、該画像の分画を確立し; (b)該画像の一部を処理し、該組織内の特性を同定し;前記の特性抽出処理工程 (b)では、更に、前記の一部内で、ピクセル強度を決定し; 該一部内に、該強度の変化を決定し;そして、 該強度変化を処理し、該一部内で、該特性の位置および大きさを同定すること を有し; (c)該画像を処理し、該特性に関する統計を作り;該特性統計は、各々の分画内 での特性の最良の線形の配列を含み、そして、 (d)該特性統計を処理し、該特性が病変である確率を求めることを特徴とする組 織内に存在する病変の確率を定量する方法。 14.前記の特性統計処理工程(c)では、前記の画像の一部上の線形の回帰処理 を行い、前記の特性の大きさによりウェイトをかけた、少なくとも平方誤差が得 られることを特徴とする請求項13に記載の組織中にある病変の確率を定量する 方法。 15.前記の特性統計処理工程(c)の前記の最良線形配置は、前記の分画の間に 異種に求めることを特徴とする請求項13に記載の組織中に存在する病変の確率 を定量する方法。 16.前記の特性統計は、特性の間の共線形の(コリニア)測定値であることを 特徴とする請求項13に記載の組織中にある病変の確率を定量する方法。 17.(a)少なくとも2つの隣接組織の画像を処理し、該画像の分画を確立し; (b)各々の分画内で該画像の一部を処理し、該組織内の特性を同定し; (c)該画像を処理し、該特性に関する統計を作り; (d)該特性統計を、ニューラルネットワーク分類器で、処理し、該特性が病変で ある確率を求めることを特徴とする組織内に存在する病変の確率を定量する方法 。 18.前記のニューラルネットワーク分類器は、該特性が病変である確率を測定 するための、訓練されたネットワーク ウェイトを用いた、完全結合の、3層の 、フィード フォワードのネットワークであることを特徴とする請求項17に記 載の組織中に存在する病変の確率を定量する方法。 19.前記の特性統計処理工程(d)は、すべての分画において、該特性が病変で ある確率を測定することを特徴とする請求項17に記載の組織中に存在する病変 の確率を定量する方法。 20.前記の特性統計処理工程(d)は、分画の選択された1つにおいて、該特性 が、病変である確率を測定することを特徴とする請求項17に記載の組織中に存 在する病変の確率を定量する方法。 21.(a)少なくとも2つの隣接組織の画像を処理し、該画像の分画を確立し; (b)各分画内の該画像の一部を処理し、該組織内の特性を同定し; (c)該画像を処理し、該特性に関する統計を作り; (d)該特性統計を処理し、該特性が病変である確率を求めることを特徴とする組 織内に存在する病変の確率を定量する方法。 22.(a)少なくとも2つの隣接組織に相当する画像分画の特性を提供し; (b)各特性を処理し、ニューラルネットワークにより連続的に処理するための特 性統計を確立することを特徴とする組織内に存在する病変の確率を定量する方法 。 23.(a)少なくとも2つの隣接組織の画像を処理し、該画像の分画を確立し; (b)各分画内の該画像の一部を処理し、該組織内の特性を同定し; (c)該画像を処理し、該特性に関する統計を作り;そして、 (d)該特性統計を処理し、該特性が病変である確率を求めることを特徴とする組 織内に存在する病変の確率を定量するシステム。 24.更に、前記の確立の可視の表示をプリントするプリンターを有することを 特徴とする請求項23に記載の組織中に存在する病変の確率の定量システム。
