Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. 微小気泡を有する音響造影剤(echo contrast agent)を用いる心筋、腎臓 、又は肝臓の超音波画像形成方法であって、該音響造影剤を静脈注射により動物 中に注入する工程、該造影剤が標的器官(organ of interest)を灌流するのに十 分な時間超音波の伝播を中止する工程、そしてその後に、超音波の伝播を再開す る工程を含む方法。 2. 該動物が犬でありそして造影剤を注入する該工程が約0.005ml/k gから約0.030ml/kgまでの量でなされるものである、請求項1記載の 方法。 3. 該動物がヒトでありそして該造影剤を注入する該工程が約0.001ml /kgから約0.0020ml/kgまでの量でなされるものである、請求項1 記載の方法。 4. 該音響造影剤を注入する該工程が、パーフルオロカーボンガス又は100 グラム/モルより大きな分子量を持つ他の不溶性ガスをカプセル化した微小気泡 を持つ造影剤を注入することを含む、請求項1記載の方法。 5. 該パーフルオロカーボンガスが、パーフルオロメチン、パーフルオロブタ ン、パーフルオロエチン、及びパーフルオロプロパンよりなる群から選択される もの、又は100グラム/モルより大きな分子量を持つ血液不溶性ガスである、 請求項4記載の方法。 6. 該パーフルオロカーボンガスがパーフルオロブタンである請求項5記載の 方法。 7. 該微小気泡がヒト血清アルブミンのような膜形成性タンパクによってカプ セル化されているものである、請求項1記載の方法。 8. 該ヒト血清アルブミンがデキストロースで希釈されているものである、請 求項7記載の方法。 9. ヒト血清アルブミンのデキストロースによる該希釈が3倍希釈である、請 求項7記載の方法。 10. 該ヒト血清アルブミンが5重量%溶液でありそして該デキストロースが 5重量%溶液である、請求項7記載の方法。 11. 超音波の伝播の該中止が約10秒〜120秒の時間である、請求項1記 載の方法。 12. 微小気泡を有する音響造影剤を用いる心筋、腎臓、又は肝臓の超音波画 像形成方法であって、該音響造影剤を静脈注射により動物中に注入する工程、該 造影剤が標的器官を灌流するのに十分な時間超音波の伝播を中止する工程、超音 波の伝播を再開する工程、そして該超音波の画像を検出する工程を含む方法。 13. 心筋、腎臓、又は肝臓の超音波画像形成方法であって、微小気泡を含む 音響造影剤を調製する工程、該音響造影剤を動物中に注入する工程、該造影剤が 画像形成しようとする器官を灌流するのに十分な時間超音波の伝播を中止する工 程、そしてその後に超音波の伝播を再開する工程を含む方法。 14. 超音波の伝播を中止する該工程が約10秒から約30秒までの時間であ る、請求項13記載の方法。 15. 該音響造影剤を調製する該工程が5重量%アルブミン溶液を5重量%デ キストロース溶液で3倍に希釈して混合液を作る工程を含むものである、請求項 13記載の方法。 16. 該混合液をパーフルオロカーボンガスの存在下に音波処理する工程をさ らに含む、請求項15記載の方法。 17. 該パーフルオロカーボンガスがパーフルオロプロパン及びパーフルオロ ブタンよりなる群から選択されるものである、請求項16記載の方法。 18. 該パーフルオロカーボンガスがパーフルオロブタンである、請求項17 記載の方法。
