Abstract
Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.以下を備える、留置医療構成物: (i) 埋め込み可能な医療用具または管; (ii) 該用具または管の一部または全体を取り囲むシースであって、該用具ま たは管と同中心でありかつ該用具または管を取り囲む、シース;および (iii) 該用具または管と該シースとの間に、取り囲んで位置する、少なくとも 1つの薬理学的活性薬剤。 2.前記薬理学的活性成分が、結晶または粉末である、請求項1に記載の構成物 。 3.前記薬理学的活性薬剤が、前記用具または管と前記外側シースとの間に位置 する薬理学的活性薬剤透過性材料のジャケット中に埋め込まれる、請求項1に記 載の構成物。 4.前記薬理学的活性薬剤透過性材料が、シリコーンである、請求項3に記載の 構成物。 5.前記薬理学的活性薬剤が、表1の化合物の少なくとも1つである、前述の請 求項のいずれかに記載の構成物。 6.前記薬理学的活性薬剤が、EDTA、ミノサイクリン、またはリファンピンであ る、請求項5に記載の構成物。 7.前記薬理学的活性薬剤がミノサイクリンである、請求項6に記載の構成物。 8.前記薬理学的活性薬剤がリファンピンである、請求項6に記載の構成物。 9.薬理学的活性薬剤の組み合わせを含む、前述の請求項のいずれかに記載の構 成物。 10.前記薬理学的活性薬剤の組み合わせが、抗菌剤と抗凝固剤;抗菌剤と抗炎 症剤;ならびに抗菌剤と抗凝固剤と抗炎症剤からなる群から選択される、請求項 9に記載の構成物。 11.前記薬理学的活性薬剤の組み合わせが、ミノサイクリン/リファンピン、 ミノサイクリン/EDTA、およびミノサイクリン/アズトレオナムからなる群から選 択される、請求項10に記載の構成物。 12.前記薬理学的活性薬剤の組み合わせが、ミノサイクリン/リファンピンを 含む、請求項11に記載の構成物。 13.前記シースが、前記薬理学的活性薬剤に対して透過性である、前述の請求 項のいずれかに記載の構成物。 14.前記シースに、少なくとも1つの薬理学的活性薬剤が埋め込まれる、前述 の請求項のいずれかに記載の構成物。 15.前記用具または管が管である、前述の請求項のいずれかに記載の構成物。 16.前記管がカテーテルである、請求項15に記載の構成物。 17.前記カテーテルが尿道カテーテルである、請求項16に記載の構成物。 18.前記カテーテルが、静脈カテーテルまたは動脈カテーテルである、請求項 16に記載の構成物。 19.前記シースが、実質的に前記カテーテルと同一の広がりを有し、その結果 、該シースが該カテーテルの全長を実質的に包む、請求項16に記載の構成物。 20.前記シースが、前記カテーテルの長さの一部を包む、請求項16に記載の 構成物。 21.前記用具または管が、埋め込み可能な医療用具である、請求項1〜14の いずれかに記載の構成物。 22.前記埋め込み可能な医療用具が、シャント、腹膜管、気管切開用具、腹腔 ドレナージバッグ、血管形成用具、埋め込み可能な医療プロテーゼ、または使用 中のいくらかの期間、身体に埋め込んだままで適用される用具である、請求項2 1に記載の構成物。 23.前記用具または管が、使用の間、前記薬理学的活性薬剤に対して遅い透過 性であるように適用される、前述の請求項のいずれかに記載の構成物。 24.前記用具または管に、少なくとも1つの前記薬理学的活性薬剤が埋め込ま れる、前述の請求項のいずれかに記載の構成物。 25.前記用具または管が、前記薬理学的活性薬剤に対して不透過性である材料 から構成される、請求項1〜22のいずれかに記載の構成物。 26.前記用具を患者に挿入する工程を包含する、細菌のコロニゼーションを阻 害するための、前述の請求項のいずれかに記載の構成物の使用。
