2. Description of the Related Art Japanese Patent Laid-Open Publication No. Sho 50-130803 discloses a method of incinerating vegetable waste, such as vegetable and vegetation waste, as a conventional method of incinerating vegetable waste. In this method, a combustion chamber and a carbonization chamber are provided separately, and pieces of wood and the like that are easy to burn are put into the combustion chamber, and the heat of the combustion is used to carbonize vegetables and plant waste in the carbonization chamber. It may be bad and may give off odor. Also described in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 52-21167, after coarsely crushing and foreign matter separation of kitchen garbage and weeds, and then granulating the first-dried one after pulverizing with a juicer or a grinding machine,
There is a method of secondary drying this and separating the generated gas, then processing it into organic fertilizer or feed, but it requires a lot of time for processing, and it is not so much for drying cut grass and rice husk and carbonizing. Not suitable.

[0003] In order to apply these conventional techniques to bedding used in cowsheds or stables, rice husks after threshing, cut grass containing sand, etc., the water content is too high or the flame retardant. It cannot be treated as expected due to its nature, and if it is dried on a fire, it will rot and give off a bad smell. In particular, grass cut off at golf courses contains not only lawns and weeds, but also a considerable amount of sand. Therefore, if the raw material was treated using a conventional incinerator, it could not be completely burned, and it was difficult to perform carbonization.

However, in the above-mentioned invention, since the drying furnace and the carbonizing furnace are of a direct heating type in which a burner as a heat radiation source is provided on the ceiling surface, the temperature and the amount of oxygen in each of the furnaces are optimized. With the difficulty of controlling the temperature range,
In addition, cut grass on a golf course is used to cut the extended turf and then flatten it by putting sand in the hollow of the lawn in order to eliminate damaged parts such as unevenness on the lawn. It is necessary to separate and recycle the carbide and the sand because of containing sand, but no consideration has been given to this point.

Therefore, as a result of intensive studies for improving these prior arts, the applicant has recently filed Japanese Patent Application No. 6-24.
As described in US Pat. No. 4,679, an external heat type carbonization apparatus suitable for treating cut grass containing sand is proposed.
According to the present invention, as shown in FIG. 3, a cylindrical heating inner cylinder 4b provided with a screw conveyor 4g or a spiral groove therein and a heating path provided to surround the inner cylinder to form an outer jacket 4c. The external heating type carbonization furnace 4 is constructed by heating the inner cylinder part from the outside to indirectly dry and carbonize, and receives the cut grass mixed with sand at one end of the inner heating cylinder. Hopper 2 and a screw feeder 2a at the lower part of the hopper, and a cooling separation tower 6 for cooling and separating carbonized products and sand of the turf treated in the carbonization furnace at the other end. A hot air generating furnace 5 for supplying hot air is connected to a jacket of the processing furnace to perform carbonization. However, in order to perform processing using the present invention, since the firing furnace is constituted by one heating cylinder, the amount of firing processing is limited and large-scale processing is difficult, and an attempt is made to increase the amount of processing per hour. If you do, you can make the heating cylinder a large diameter, or
It is necessary to make the device long, and in such a case, the device becomes large, and there is a problem that a large installation space is required, fuel and other maintenance costs are required.

In the above invention, the screw conveyor 4
The present invention can be used as a drying apparatus by increasing the number of revolutions and shortening the residence time of the object in each heating cylinder 2 so that the object is not carbonized. Further, by adjusting the temperature of the hot air generating furnace 5 to keep the temperature of the lower heating inner cylinders 2c and 2d lower than the carbonization temperature, it is possible to use the drying apparatus as an efficient drying apparatus. Also, in place of the above-described heating cylinder, a known kiln furnace having a spiral groove formed on the inner peripheral surface of a rotatable cylinder can be used to perform the same drying and carbonization treatment. Needless to say, a combination of a screw conveyor type and a kiln type may be used.
In the carbonization apparatus having the above-described configuration, the screw conveyor 4 provided in the heating cylinder 2 of the carbonization furnace 1 is used.
Is a single-shaft type, but the present invention is not limited to this type. In consideration of the capacity of the hot-air generating furnace 5, the stirring efficiency of the heating cylinder 2, and the like, a multi-screw conveyor having two or more shafts is provided. Needless to say, a shaft type may be used, and a paddle conveyor may be used instead of the screw conveyor.

According to the invention of the present application, the following effects can be obtained by employing the above-described configuration. The combustion furnace body is composed of an inner cylinder for heating and an outer jacket surrounding it, and the raw grass and the like are heated and baked while being stirred while being transferred in the heating cylinder. It is possible to select and change the heating time, the heating temperature, and the calcination conditions in accordance with the flammability and the flammability so that an optimum product can be obtained. Then, when burning raw grass containing a large amount of sand, the heated sand acts as a heating medium, and the turf to be baked is mixed and stirred with the sand, so that the turf is heated and ignited. It is possible to carbonize without having to, it is possible to obtain the most suitable as a supplementary soil and soil improvement material for golf courses, and when it is not necessary to reuse carbide,
It is possible to continuously burn directly as fuel. Further, by adjusting and controlling the feed speed of the screw conveyor, the amount of water vapor in the heating cylinder, the temperature of the hot-air generating furnace, and the like, it becomes possible to use not only a carbonization treatment device but also a drying device. In addition, since the heating cylinder is made shorter than the conventional one and is connected by being stacked in multiple stages to form a heating furnace, the apparatus main body can be made compact.
