Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sand guard bench having functions to collect and drain water in strata with simple construction and execution. SOLUTION: A plurality of retaining walls having the same specification are erected at proper intervals vertically in multiple parallel stages and subjected to the sand guard execution in the rear surface of the retaining wall 11, so that water-proof earth and sand layers 51 are stepwise formed on a water-proof sheet 41 to provide a sand guard bench. Also, a plurality of drain ports 12 are formed in the lower part of the retaining wall in the longitudinal direction, and a drain pipe 21 is inserted in one of drain ports 12. The drain pipe 21 on the respective stages are connected to each other, and water collecting pipes are inserted in all other drain ports 12 with respect to the retaining walls 11 of the respective stages. These water collecting pipes are connected through a communicating pipe to the drain pipe. All drain pipes, water collecting pipes and communicating pipes are embedded in the earth and sand layer 51, while the height of the earth and sand layers 51 on the respective stages are approximately equalized to the upper end of the retaining wall 11 on the same stage.

(6) Embankment is performed on the rear side of the retaining wall of each step. At this time, as shown in FIG. 8, all the compartments 15 are filled with split chestnut (or crushed stone). Thus, the weight of the split chestnut is applied to the retaining wall, so that the retaining wall can be fixed more stably. Next, after compaction is performed to obtain the configuration shown in FIG. 1, grass is ground on the ground.

Next, the operation of the above-described retaining bench will be described. The retaining wall 11 of each step can be used as a bench, and the audience can sit on the upper end (the cover plate 11a) of the retaining wall 11. The ground (surface of the earth and sand layer 51) of each step becomes a passage. In FIGS. 1 and 2, the water in each layer of sediment formed by the penetration of rainwater or the like is drained from the drain port 12
From the drain pipe 2 through the communication pipe 23.
1 and discharged outside the retaining bench. in this case,
Since the waterproof sheet 41 is laid, the water in the earth and sand layer hardly permeates to a lower layer than the waterproof sheet 41.

In the second embodiment, the drainage pipe 31 having a structure also serving as a water collection pipe is provided in place of the drainage pipe 21 in the first embodiment, so that the water collection pipe 22 and the communication pipe 23 are omitted. is there. That is, as shown in FIG. 16 to FIG. 18, a plurality of retaining walls 11 are erected in parallel on the ground 10 at appropriate intervals with each other, and earth retaining works are performed on the rear surface of the retaining walls 11 to thereby perform the earth and sand layer. A retaining bench formed by forming steps 51 in a stepped shape, wherein a drain port 12 is formed below the retaining wall 11.
Are formed along the longitudinal direction thereof, and drain pipes 31 having slit-shaped water collecting holes 32 formed in appropriate places are inserted through all of the drain ports 12 to connect the corresponding drain pipes of each stage to each other. The drainage holes 31 of each drainage pipe 31 are surrounded by a rubble stone layer 52, and the rubble stone layer 52 is filled with a sediment layer 51 to bury all the drainage pipes 31 in the soil layer 51. The height of the earth and sand layer 51 in each step is substantially the same as the upper end of the retaining wall 11 in the same step.
