Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.デンプンと、アミノ基及び/又はアンモニウム基含有ポリマーとを、水性 媒体中、デンプンの糊化温度を上回る温度で、酸化剤、重合開始剤及びアルカリ の不在下に反応させることにより、デンプンをカチオン性に変性する方法におい て、この反応を、115〜180℃の温度範囲で、高めた圧力下に、使用デンプ ンの少なくとも90重量%が溶解し、かつデンプンの多くても10重量%に、分 子量低下が生ずるように実施することを特徴とする、デンプンをカチオン性に変 性する方法。 2.デンプンとして、群、トウモロコシデンプン、馬鈴薯デンプン、コムギデ ンプン、コメデンプン、タピオカデンプン、サゴデンプン、モロコシ属デンプン 、カッサバデンプン、エンドウデンプンからの天然デンプン又は前記の天然デン プンの混合物を使用する、請求項1に記載の方法。 3.少なくとも95重量%のアミロペクチン含有率を有するデンプンを使用す る、請求項1又は2に記載の方法。 4.デンプンとして、群、ロウ状トウモロコシデンプン、ロウ状馬鈴薯デンプ ン、ロウ状コムギデンプンからなる天然デンプン又は前記のデンプンの混合物を 使用する、請求項1から3のいずれかに記載の方法。 5.デンプン100重量部に対して、少なくとも1種のカチオン性ポリマー0 .1〜100重量部を使用する、請求項1から4のいずれかに記載の方法。 6.デンプン100重量部に対して、少なくとも1種のカチオン性ポリマー1 〜10重量部を使用する、請求項5に記載の方法。 7.カチオン性ポリマーとして、N−ビニルホルムアミド、ポリエチレンイミ ン及び/又はポリアルキレンアミンの部分的に又は完全に加水分解されたホモポ リマー又はコポリマーを使用する、請求項1から6のいずれかに記載の方法。 8.請求項1から7のいずれかに記載の方法により得られた変性されたデンプ ンを、紙用の乾燥強化剤として使用すること。
