Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. 液体又は気体の流れから固形物あるいは粒状物を分離するための装置であ って、その装置は複数の開口部を備えて液体又は気体の流路に配置された分離板 を有し、それらの開口部の寸法はその寸法よりも小さい固形物又は粒状物のみが 通過できるようにあらかじめ定められ、前記分離板に対するそれら開口部の形状 及び配置は、その装置を使用しているときに、前記所定の寸法よりも大きい固形 物又は粒状物が分離板に付着したり、分離板を塞いだりしないように定められて いる、液体又は気体の流れから固形物あるいは粒状物を分離するための装置。 2. 前記分離板は曲線状の構造を有するべく形成されている請求の範囲第1項 に記載の装置。 3. 前記分離板はほぼ円筒状の構造を有するべく形成されている請求の範囲第 1項又は第2項に記載の装置。 4. 前記分離板は、開口端部を有するほぼ円筒状の構造である請求の範囲第1 項ないし第3項のいずれかに記載の装置。 5. 前記分離板に設けられた開口部は、その装置が使用されているときに、前 記液体又は気体の流れに対してある角度をもって配設されるように配置される、 請求の範囲第1項ないし第4項のいずれかに記載の装置。 6. 前記開口部は、その各々が前記液体又は気体の流れの方向にほぼ対向する 偏向手段を備え、流れに取り込まれた固形物又は粒状物をそれら開口部から離れ るように偏向させるようにする、請求の範囲第1項ないし第5項のいずれかに記 載の装置。 7. 前記分離板は分離室に収装されるか、又は分離室の一部を構成し、その分 離室には、装置が使用されているときに、一つの装置を画成するように吸入手段 によって前記液体又は気体の流れが導入され、前記分離板の境界内に液体又は気 体の環状流れを画成するように吸入手段によって前記液体又は気体の流れが導入 され、それによって、これらの特徴が、前記液体又は気体に取り込まれた所定の 寸法の固形物又は粒状物が前記分離板の境界内に捕捉されるように配置される、 請求の範囲第1項ないし第6項のいずれかに記載の装置。 8. 前記装置の構成は、装置が使用されているときに、前記分離板がほぼ自己 清掃する機能を有していることを特徴とする請求の範囲第7項に記載の装置。 9. 前記装置の形状が、使用中に前記分離板の境界の外部を流れる液体又は気 体の流れの方向が、前記分離板の境界内の液体又は気体の流れの方向と対向する ように形成されており、それによって装置使用中の分離板の自己清掃機能を維持 させるようにする請求の範囲第8項に記載の装置。 10. 前記装置は、前記分離板の内部に捕捉された固形物又は粒状物の収集を 補助する手段をさらに備えている請求の範囲第1項ないし第9項のいずれかに記 載の装置。 11. 前記固形物又は粒状物の収集を補助する手段は、沈殿可能な固形物又は 粒状物の沈殿を促進するための重力を利用したバイアス手段である請求の範囲第 10項に記載の装置。 12. 前記バイアス手段は、前記沈殿する固形物又は粒状物の沈殿を促進すべ く、前記装置に少なくとも一つの下方を指向するバッフル又はフランジを設けて なる請求の範囲第11項に記載の装置。 13. 前記装置は前記固形物又は粒状物を収集するための容器を備えている請 求の範囲第1項ないし第12項のいずれかに記載の装置。 14. 前記装置は、前記容器から固形物又は粒状物を除去するための手段を有 している請求の範囲第13項に記載の装置。 15. 前記容器から固形物又は粒状物を除去するための手段は、前記容器に設 けられた、装置使用中に前記容器内に受容された固形物又は粒状物が収容される 着脱可能な容器を含む請求の範囲第14項に記載の装置。 16. 液体又は気体の流れから固形物又は粒状物を分離する方法であって、前 記液体又は気体の流路に分離装置を配置し、その分離装置には複数の貫通する開 口部を有する分離板が設けられており、それらの開口部の寸法はその寸法よりも 小さい固形物又は粒状物のみが通過できるようにあらかじめ定められ、前記分離 板のそれら開口部は装置の使用中に前記所定の寸法よりも大きい固形物又は粒状 物が前記分離板に付着したり、前記分離板を塞いだりしないような形状及び配置 とされている液体又は気体の流れから固形物又は粒状物を分離する方法。 17. 前記分離板は曲線状の構造に形成されている請求の範囲第16項に記載 の方法。 18. 前記分離板はほぼ円筒状の構造に形成されている請求の範囲第16項又 は第17項に記載の方法。 19. 前記分離板は、開口端部を有するほぼ円筒状の構造である請求の範囲第 16項ないし第18項のいずれかに記載の方法。 20. 前記分離板に設けられた開口部は、その装置が使用されているときに、 前記液体又は気体の流れに対してある角度をもって配設されるように配置される 、請求の範囲第16項ないし第19項のいずれかに記載の方法。 21. 前記開口部は、その各々が前記液体又は気体の流れの方向にほぼ対向す る偏向手段を備え、流れに取り込まれた固形物又は粒状物をそれら開口部から離 れるように偏向させる補助をする、請求の範囲第16項ないし第20項のいずれ かに記載の方法。 22. 前記分離板は分離室に収装されるか、又は分離室の一部を構成し、その 分離室には、装置が使用されているときに、前記分離板の境界内に液体又は気体 の環状流れを画成するように吸入手段によって前記液体又は気体の流れが導入さ れ、それによって、これらの特徴が、前記液体又は気体に取り込まれた所定の寸 法の固形物又は粒状物が前記分離板の境界内に捕捉されるように配置される、請 求の範囲第16項ないし第21項のいずれかに記載の方法。 23. 前記装置の構成は、装置が使用されているときに、前記分離板がほぼ自 己清掃する機能を有していることを特徴とする請求の範囲第22項に記載の方法 。 24. 前記装置の形状が、使用中に前記分離板の境界の外部を流れる液体又は 気体の流れの方向が、前記分離板の境界内の液体又は気体の流れの方向と対向す るように形成されており、それによって装置使用中の分離板の自己清掃機能を維 持させるようにする請求の範囲第23項に記載の方法。 25. 前記方法は、前記分離板の内部に捕捉された固形物又は粒状物の収集を 補助する手段をさらに備えている請求の範囲第16項ないし第24項のいずれか に記載の方法。 26. 前記固形物又は粒状物の収集を補助する手段は、沈殿する固形物又は粒 状物の堆積を促進するための重力を利用したバイアス手段である請求の範囲第2 5項に記載の方法。 27. 前記バイアス手段は、前記沈殿する固形物又は粒状物の堆積を促進すべ く、前記装置に少なくとも一つの下方を指向するバッフル又はフランジを設けて なる請求の範囲第26項に記載の方法。 28. 前記装置は前記固形物又は粒状物を収集するための容器を備えている請 求の範囲第16項ないし第27項のいずれかに記載の方法。 29. 前記装置は、前記容器から固形物又は粒状物を除去するための手段を有 している請求の範囲第28項に記載の方法。 30. 前記容器から固形物又は粒状物を除去するための手段は、前記容器に設 けられた、装置使用中に前記容器内に受容された固形物又は粒状物が収容される 着脱可能な容器を含む請求の範囲第29項に記載の方法。 31. 液体又は気体の流れから固形物又は粒状物を除去するための装置であっ て、実質的に上記に記載されるとともに、添付図面に関連する装置。 32. 液体又は気体の流れから固形物又は粒状物を除去するための方法であっ て、実質的に上記に記載されるとともに、添付図面に関連する方法。
