Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.吸引ポートと、排出ポートと、前記吸引ポートと前記排出ポートとの間に 設けられ前記吸引ポート及び前記排出ポートに接続されたリリーフ用流路とを備 えたポンプであって、 第1のカウンターボアと、 第2のカウンターボアとを備えており、 前記第1のカウンターボアおよび前記第2のカウンターボアは、互いに実質的 に同心状に配置されており、また、前記第1のカウンターボアおよび前記第2の カウンターボアは、前記吸引ポートとの接続部の近くで前記リリーフ用流路を囲 んでおり、前記第1のカウンターボアは第1の軸方向長さを備えており、 前記ポンプは、また、 外径と軸方向長さとを有する、実質的に円筒形のスリーブ部材を備えており、 前記スリーブ部材の外径は前記第1のカウンターボアの内径に対応しており、前 記スリーブ部材の軸方向長さは前記第1のカウンターボアの前記第1の軸方向長 さよりも実質的に長くなっており、それによって、前記第1のカウンターボア内 に前記スリーブ部材を組み立てることにより、前記スリーブ部材の軸方向端が、 非拘束状態で、該スリーブ部材の外径と前記第2のカウンターボアに対応する内 径との間に形成された環状の空間部に突出しており、 前記ポンプは、さらに、 直接的な構造的拘束から解放された前記スリーブ部材の突出端の周辺に設けら れた実質的に円形のバルブシートと、 前記バルブシートに向けて弾性偏倚されているバルブプラグと、 を備えていることを特徴とするポンプ。 2.請求項1に記載のポンプにおいて、前記バルブプラグは、高分子材料から 形成されていることを特徴とするポンプ。 3.請求項1に記載のポンプにおいて、前記バルブシートは、前記スリーブ部 材のうち前記突出端の内径周辺に設けられた、実質的に円錐面状の領域となって いることを特徴とするポンプ。 4.請求項3に記載のポンプにおいて、前記バルブプラグは、管状部材となっ ており、 前記管状部材は、該管状部材を通る軸方向ボアと、該管状部材の外側周辺の回 りで径方向に拡大された肩部とを備えており、 前記肩部は、前記バルブシートと協働して液密可能な、実質的に円錐形断面を 有するバルブ密封面を支持していることを特徴とするポンプ。 5.請求項4に記載のポンプにおいて、前記弾性偏倚が、前記管状部材上で支 持される第1のばねによって、前記管状部材に加えられ、これによって、前記バ ルブ密封面が前記バルブシートに係合していることを特徴とするポンプ。 6.請求項5に記載のポンプにおいて、前記バルブプラグの軸方向ボアは、該 軸方向ボアを通って前記排出ポートから前記吸引ポートに流体が流れないように 、ポペット部材によって密封されており、 前記ポペット部材は、前記吸引ポート内の流体圧力が前記排出ポート内の流体 圧力を越えたとき開口するよう、前記バルブプラグに取り付けられていることを 特徴とするポンプ。 7.請求項6に記載のポンプにおいて、前記バルブプラグは、高分子材料から 形成されていることを特徴とするポンプ。 8.請求項4に記載のポンプにおいて、前記スリーブ部材の軸線から測定され る、前記バルブシートの円錐面状領域の円錐形角度が、前記バルブプラグの前記 バルブ密封面の円錐形角度と等しいか、または、該バルブ密封面の円錐形角度を 越えていることを特徴とするポンプ。 9.ポンプハウジングに過剰圧力保護バルブを組み立てるための過剰圧力保護 バルブ組み立て方法であって、 流体の流路を、ハウジング肩部チャンバと接続するように、前記ポンプハウジ ングに設ける工程と、 前記流路を中心として同軸状に、第1のカウンターボアを設ける工程とを備え ており、前記第1のカウンターボアは、第1の内径と、前記ハウジング肩部チャ ンバから延存する第1の軸方向深さとを有しており、 前記組み立て方法は、また、 前記流路を中心として同軸状に、第2のカウンターボアを設ける工程を備えて おり、前記第2のカウンターボアは、第1の内径よりも小さい第2の内径と、前 記第1のカウンターボアの前記第1の軸方向深さの端から測定される第2の軸方 向深さとを有しており、 前記組み立て方法は、また、 実質的に円筒形のメタルスリーブ部材を設ける工程とを備えており、前記メタ ルスリーブ部材は、スリーブ内径とスリーブ外径との間で、比較的薄い環状壁を 有しており、前記メタルスリーブ部材は、前記第2の軸方向深さよりも長い軸方 向長さと、前記第2のカウンターボアの内径に対応するスリーブ外径とを備えて おり、前記メタルスリーブ部材は、前記ポンプハウジングよりも大きな硬度と寸 法安定性とを備えており、 前記組み立て方法は、さらに、 前記第2のカウンターボア内に前記メタルスリーブ部材を固定し、これによっ て、前記第2の軸方向深さよりも長いスリーブの超過部分を、前記第1のカウン ターボア内で同軸状に、前記第2の軸方向深さを越えて突出させ、それによって 、前記メタルスリーブ部材の外径と前記第1のカウンターボアの内径との間に非 拘束状態の環状空間部を設ける工程と、 前記メタルスリーブ部材のうち突出した前記軸方向端にバルブ着座用の面を設 ける工程とを備えたことを特徴とする過剰圧力保護バルブ組み立て方法。 10.請求項9に記載の過剰圧力保護バルブ組み立て方法であって、さらに、前 記バルブ着座用の面と密封係合するポリマー製のバルブプラグを設ける工程を備 えたことを特徴とする過剰圧力保護バルブ組み立て方法。 11.請求項10に記載の過剰圧力保護バルブ組み立て方法において、さらに、 前記バルブ着座用の面に対して前記バルブプラグを弾性偏倚させる工程を備えた ことを特徴とする過剰圧力保護バルブ組み立て方法。
